Our hope is to be able to connect to other classrooms who might be learning the same concepts or reading the same books, or just connect with each other on paper, where it's sometimes easier to express our thoughts.
We also welcome parents of our student to have a look at what we are learning and how we are learning. As we value privacy and anonymity for our students and parents, there are a few things you might like to know in regards to making posts and comments.
Students will be given a number or an alias name (such as "Grumpy Bear", or Student 1), and will post and comment as these aliases. If parents would like to comment, please feel free to record your name as "Grumpy Bear's Mum" or "Grumpy Bear's Dad" (brother, sister, grandparent, etc.), so we know who you are!
Feel free to browse the blog as a whole, looking at all the nooks and crannies of not only your child's work, but other children's as well.
While I don't believe it needs to be said, I will disclaim anyway, you never know who is having a look. All comments are monitored by myself, before being allowed to be seen by the public, please keep the language and comments positive and appropriate. Think of the golden rule: 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.'
